About Art & Abandonment

A&A was founded in 2012 to serve as a portfolio of my photography as well as an ongoing catalog for abandoned or otherwise forgotten structures in and around Cincinnati. The goal of this catalog is to preserve these buildings and places through photographs, as they are likely to be either demolished or fall deeper into disrepair. The documentation of local graffiti in these places has also inadvertently become another motivation for the catalog. All sites under the Standing page can still be visited and those that have unfortunately been demolished and/or rebuilt are under the Demo'd & Renovated page.
